LEAH TROUT, MSW, RSW
Beginning January 2024
Hi there, I would be delighted to accompany you on your healing journey. I provide compassion, presence, playfulness, and safety for you to feel vulnerable enough to move through growth and change. I have faith in your innate ability to grow and will be alongside you to help you get there. I allow the space for you to process and make sense of your experiences and also provide tools and strategies to help you cope. I know that everyone is unique and there isn’t one approach that fits everyone equally. I therefore work integratively utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, Somatic Experiencing and Compassionate Inquiry. I learned through my own experience of recovering from traumatic brain injury how essential meaningful and authentic connection are for healing and wellbeing, so my aim is to provide that same connection for you in an effort to ease your suffering, and instil hope.
